Try this easy step:
When you catch a negative or self-critical thought, pause and ask:
“Is this thought true?”
“Is it helpful?”
“What would I say to a friend who felt this way?”
Then, gently reframe it to something more encouraging or realistic.
Example: “I never do anything right” → “I’m learning, and it’s okay to make mistakes.”
